IC RULES.
- When you register, we ask that you set your display name to your character's first and last name (provided they have one) in ALL CAPS, it makes our OCD happy.
- While we do not enforce a posting minimum, and for that matter don't usually encourage large posts, we do consider ourselves to be a high literacy site. You're probably a little confused about this, however we firmly believe in "Quality over Quantity." which means really good short posts are what we aim for. This means good grammar is a must! If we catch some of you lacking in a certain department, we will offer to help you get better because we're all for making the roleplayers smarter and better writers. So don't be upset if someone messages you and tells you how to fix something you're doing wrong! We encourage this to help everyone get better! Don't hesitate to correct a staff member if you see them doing something wrong, we want to be better too.
- Please make sure you do not do any god-modeling in your posts. This is where a character is never sick, never hurt, and is generally flawless.
- Also, do not powerplay. Powerplaying is when in your post you control the other person's character. Remember, you only have the right to decide what one character does and that's yours! So in battle, you can't say you broke someone else's arm, you can only say you tried to break their arm and leave it up to their player to decide if it's broken or not.
- We strongly dislike mary-sues and gary-stus. Be creative! If you're not sure how to do this, we suggest talking to other members and creating an past for your character with other existing characters BEFORE writing their bio. You'd be surprised how much extra dynamic this will give them!
- Make sure you have read all the guidelines before roleplaying here, things can be very confusing unless you have a good idea as to how your character will live their live on Peradia.
AGING RULES! - Obviously Aging can get confusing sometimes, but hopefully this will help. Both Humans and Dragons must age, but there are different levels.
- Humans age 1-10 age 1 Year every four weeks.
- Humans age 10-20 age 1 Year every ten weeks.
- Humans age 20-60 age 1 Year every twelve weeks.
- Humans age 60-Death age 1 Year every five weeks,
- Dragons from Hatchling to Dragonet takes three weeks.
- Dragons from Dragonet to Juvenile takes six weeks.
- Dragons Juvenile to Young Adult takes eight weeks.
- Dragons Young Adult to Adult takes ten weeks.
- Dragons Adult to Wyrm takes twenty weeks.
- Dragons Wyrm to Great Wyrm takes fourty weeks.
- You may age your dragons slower with admin permission, but not faster. Same goes with characters.
FIGHTING RULES!
|
- All battles are to be watched by a moderator, who will decide the winner based mostly on post content but with a little bit weighing on post quality.
- Terms of the battle must be agreed upon by all fighters.
- You can fight over almost anything. If a character is to die, please notify a staff member.
BOND RULES! - Once a bond is formed it cannot be broken unless one member of the bond dies. Once this happened a new bond cannot be re-formed, and the one left remaining either dies or becomes a shell of their former selves.
- Bonds can be made only to hatchlings, not adult dragons.
- Bonds can only be made by being the first to touch a hatchling's skin, only rarely (and with admin approval) is it a true bond that is made simply by the minds coming near to each other.
All rules are punishable at the staff member's digression. If you feel you have been unfairly punished, please contact one of the admins. But please remember, these rules are here for a reason and we don't want to see you breaking them. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
