No New Posts ITALIUS TENEMENTS

In a perfect example of how poor the poor of the Italius Kingdom are, they must pay rent to have a home simply because they do not have the materials or money to build homes. Luckily their monarchs took pity on them years ago and built tenement housing; cramped one to two room apartments with thin walls and annoying neighbors. However, this is cheaper than building a house and most people chose to live in the tenements. Still, there's a few free-standing houses at the edge of the tenement village.

No New Posts THE DOCK AND SHIPYARD

Old wooden docks for on-shore fishing and concrete-clad shipyards for those who fish offshore can be located all along the Tirav river. Normally, the dock and shipyard is the busiest place in the entire Italius village, most of the food shops are located along this strip. Children in need of money for their family can be employed here by the big fishing companies that dominate the Tirav river waters.

No New Posts ITALIUS FLEA MARKET

A big metal building is found in the center of the Italius village, most of the rooms inside are empty, reserved for traveling traders and craftsmen who wish to sell or trade their wares. Some of the shops here however are permanent and offer things like clothes and food (mostly fish caught from the river). Occasionally a rich trader from the Atlerion kingdom will come down with semi-precious gems for sale or trade, but this rarely happens.

Board Description
THE ITALIUS VILLAGE
It is well known throughout Peradia that the poor of the Italius Kingdom are truly poor. While the Atlerion people manage to find some wealth in their meager set-up. The Italius Kingdom has one large river that runs through it, making the villagers nothing but poor fisherman, though some work in textile. Strangely enough, the Italius poor are the happiest of the entire land, perhaps they've come to peace with their extreme poverty and turn a blind eye to the rich and famous that live just behind the wall that protects the castle.
