THE ATLERION KINGDOM Nestled high in the Atlerion mountain range is a small, thriving castle civilization. Seemingly carved out of the mountain itself, the Atlerion Castle looms over the richest living placements in the entire Atlerion Kingdom. Made wealthy by the gems mined in the various mines around the mountain range, those who live within the castle walls are lucky to be so well protected by their monarchs. THE ATLERION COMMONS Outside the protective walls of the Atlerion castle, the poorer of the mountain kingdom must live in near-poverty while their monarchs and un-neighborly do-wells spread the wealth amongst themselves. Most of the peasants work in the mines, making the rich richer and the poor poorer. However, poverty has a hard time keeping the Atlerion people down, with annual and bi-annual fairs where the villagers trade with the neighboring kingdoms. THE ITALIUS KINGDOM Wedged into the wide valley located at the base of the Atlerion mountains, some hundreds of miles away from the Atlerion Kingdom, one will find the humble Italius Kingdom. With the mountains protecting the backside of the castle, there's only half a wall that fortifies the inner-castle wall living. This wall stretches all the way across the valley, cutting off the richest from the poorest. The Italius castle is a handsome building, made black-washed stone, it's barely visible at night save for the glow of light from the windows. THE ITALIUS VILLAGE It is well known throughout Peradia that the poor of the Italius Kingdom are truly poor. While the Atlerion people manage to find some wealth in their meager set-up. The Italius Kingdom has one large river that runs through it, making the villagers nothing but poor fisherman, though some work in textile. Strangely enough, the Italius poor are the happiest of the entire land, perhaps they've come to peace with their extreme poverty and turn a blind eye to the rich and famous that live just behind the wall that protects the castle. THE ROMADOR KINGDOM Placed on the highest hill in Southern Peradia, where the Atlerion mountain range is but a rigid backdrop, the Romador Kingdom castle is a magnificent building to behold. White polished marble glistens in the sun and glows like the stars and the moon at night. The wall that protects inner-circle life and that surrounds the entire hill that the castle sits on Romador hill is the exact same marble that the castle is made of. THE ROMADOR PARISH The common-folk of the Romador Kingdom are the wealthiest in all of Peradia. Made rich off of the excellent farming and grazing soil, the peasants of the Romador Parish make their wealth through farming and raising animals for both human and dragon consumption. The Romador Kingdom also has one of the largest horse markets around. Farm houses dot the tops of hills and neighborhoods crowd valleys made by larger hills, it's a quaint place living in the shadow of the super wealthy and powerful. ACTETOVA FOREST The Actetova Forest is the largest, most mysterious forest that grows around. Most of it is shrouded in mist and mystery. It's rumored that numerous bands of outlaws have made the Actetova forest home, but to those that have wandered its dark shadows know that the only 'outlaws' that live here is the largest band of tree hugging gypsies that don't believe in personal hygiene The gypsies are a generally peaceful people who just want to teach you the ways of mother earth and no hygiene. . BELL TAVERN Placed on one of the busiest traveling roads in Peradia is a sanctuary for the weary wanderer and his hungry belly. What was once a small, deserted house has been transformed into one of the largest non-kingdom taverns ever. Here, travelers can find food to fill their stomachs, drink to quench their thirst, and beds to rest their weary bodies upon. The Bell Tavern is rarely empty, at night it is a rather festive place and comes alive with the melody of liquor lyrics and drunken dancing. |

CORADA LAKE A romantic destination for lovers desperate for a little privacy, Corada Lake has been a popular 'tourist' attraction for as long as anyone can remember. It is the largest, deepest lake in Peradia. Its sparking blue waters attract those with a fondness for swimming, and its under-surface teeming with aquatic life draws in the leisurely fisherman. The white sand shores offer a perfect spot for family picnics, and the few large lake houses serve as summer getaways for the rich. |

FERRARDON DESERT While Corada Lake may be the largest current lake, it's a surprising fact to anyone to discover that the Ferrardon Desert was once a small sea that divided the Italius and Romador Kingdoms. Now, it is but a pathetic, withered shadow of its former salty glory. The land here is high in salt, disallowing any growth of plant or animal life. sometimes it is a necessary obstacle to cross when traversing between the kingdoms. Should one wish to surmount the seemingly insurmountable task of crossing the Ferrardon Desert, it would be wise to stock up on supplies if one wishes to come out alive. |

RUSSICENE PEAKS Formed when two continents collided, the Russicene Peaks are the highest mountains and make the Atlerion mountains look like mere lumps on the land. Jagged and dangerous, few people dare to cross these mountains, but for the adventurous, the Russicene Peaks provide a particular promise of an adrenaline rush. This is also one of the only places in Peradia where wild dragons live without human control, adding to the danger of the place. To those who care, to have lived a night on the Russicene slopes makes one a god of adventure. |
